Winds Kusi - South East Monsoon (May - August) This brings a strong gusting wind and rain showers. These are essentially our coolest months. These are not fishing or snorkelling months as the sea is rough. Perfect for chilling out and walking along empty beaches. Matilai - is a transitional period with light easterly winds and calm weather. Mutalai can vary from end of October through to December and again from the end of February to April. The best sailfish fishing season is in November and the marlin in February/March. Our hottest months are November, February and March. Kaskazi - North East Trade Winds (December - Feb). Hot sunny Days but typically calm mornings and windy afternoons. The temperatures are kept reasonably cool due to this wind. |
